The ETI Research Brio range of high-end connectors are built to our exacting high standards using Rhodium plated Tellurium Copper to make your product perform at it’s best.
The ETI Research Brio Spade Connector is made from Tellurium Copper and Rhodium plated for not only superior conductivity but long-lasting durability to stand up to the rigors of being fastened and unfastened time after time.

This combination of high-quality Copper and Rhodium plating adds up to a superior audio connector designed to accurately transfer an audio signal with crystal clear clarity.
The Brio Spade Connector is machined from solid Tellurium Copper rod without any nickel plating with the Rhodium plated directly to the copper which offers a completely detailed sound unlike when adding rhodium on nickel that has been appiled to brass. ETI-Research’s Brio Spade is designed to satisfy the most discerning eye for audio componentry and quality of workmanship.
In terms of spade connectors, you would be hard pressed to find a higher standard than those offered by ETI-Research. You wouldn’t settle for anything less than superb sound quality being emitted from your audio systems, and you won’t have to with the exemplary standard set by ETI-Research’s plethora of premium connections.
The ETI-Research Brio Spade Connector’s innovations and refinements include:
The ETI Research Brio Banana Connector is made from Tellurium Copper and Rhodium plated for not only superior conductivity but long-lasting durability to withstand day-to-day use in a wide variety of audio equipment. The housing is made from Brass for superior vibration damping and high EMI/RF noise rejection.

The new ETI Research Brio XLR Connector is an advanced step for ETI as it has taken some time for CNC machining to get to the point where the female connection can be machined to the thickness ETI Research knows is optimum for the finest sound quality possible.

For some time, XLR connectors with some type of Copper have been available, but many of the male pins have too much mass, which causes excessive capacitance and subsequently alters the sound. Some of these XLR connectors, while having Copper male connectors, were still formed with brass on the female side. The reason why is the hollow nature of the female pin was difficult to machine and a lot cheaper to make by using the original pins formed in Brass moulds.
ETI Research was still not interested because this defeated the purpose of using Copper for superior sound quality. The next step was to get female connectors made out of Copper. This was achieved by rolling flat Copper to make the female connection. This still resulted in problems when it came to uniformity because the surface contact area for inserting the male was not consistent and could make the connection unstable.
An additional problem was surface thickness. ETI Research has found the best-sounding thickness for low-voltage connectors. Going thicker or thinner negatively influences sound quality. We feel the best connector has the least effect on sound and that is what ETI Research constantly strives to achieve.
So we waited until we could manufacture what we felt was simply the best XLR connector on the market. The ETI Research Brio XLR Connector has both the male and female connectors CNC machined with optimum wall thickness and Rhodium Plated for excellent durability in long-term usage.
The ETI Research Brio XLR Connector’s refinements include:
Accommodates cables up to 13mm, or with insert installed 9mm.
The ETI Research Brio RCA Connector features the same design as the Kryo RCA but with Rhodium plating instead of Silver.

ETI Research is the originator of the star grounding design and has a lower mass than any of the copies on the market. The hollow design enables walls with a thickness of 0.6mm on the signal pin, giving you the capability to solder the wire at the very top, which eliminates the signal from going through as much mass as on other star grounding designs.
The Brio RCA Connector is made from Tellurium Copper and is Rhodium plated for both superior conductivity and long-lasting durability that will not tarnish even after years on plugging and unplugging the connector. The housing is made from Brass for superior vibration damping and high EMI/RF noise rejection.
This combination of high-quality materials and Rhodium plating adds up to a superior RCA connector designed for use by manufacturers and consumers to enhance the range of audio cables on the market by allowing the signal to pass through with a minimum of alteration. The end result of ETI Research’s hard work and development is pure, unadulterated sound.
