Coda RCA Connector
Pure Silver signal pin with Pure Silver return
Brass
In keeping up with improving our existing line ET Research is proud to introduce the New Coda RCA Connector with updated Housing which further reduces exposure to any EMI/RF noise that can influence the sound of your music.
Introducing the Coda RCA: The Next Generation of Premium RCA Connectors
The Coda RCA represents a significant advancement over the acclaimed Silver LINK, often hailed as the best RCA connector available. Rather than merely enhancing the connector itself, our primary goal was to improve electromagnetic and radio frequency noise rejection, which has become a critical issue since the original Bullet design by Rob Woodland many years ago. The Coda’s brass housing effectively shields the audio signal from these unwanted interferences.
Distinct Design Features
The Coda RCA Connector stands apart from typical silver RCA connectors due to our commitment to superior materials and innovative design.
A key focus in our design was minimizing mass to reduce unwanted influences on sound quality. Excess mass can lead to increased capacitance and resistance, ultimately altering the audio experience. While larger, bulkier connectors may be easier and cheaper to produce, the Coda RCA has been meticulously machined to reduce mass wherever possible, ensuring a purer audio signal. In fact, we remove more silver than we retain during production, resulting in a lightweight yet highly effective design. Unlike many imitations on the market, the Coda features hollow construction with 0.6mm thick walls, ensuring durability without compromising sound quality.
The return pin is uniquely assembled by hand, enhancing the connector’s ability to withstand the rigors of repeated use.
Exceptional Silver Quality
What truly sets the Coda RCA apart from other silver connectors is our use of pure silver—unplated and sourced directly from a specialized foundry in England, ensuring exceptional quality. While many products claim to offer silver at competitive prices, we take pride in our commitment to sourcing recognized pure silver rather than simply meeting vague purity claims.
With an assay report verifying that our silver is 99.99% pure, ETI-Research firmly stands behind our product. Although higher purity levels are sometimes advertised, attaining such purity is extremely challenging and costly. The industry standard for silver is typically 99.99%, and it’s important to request assay reports for any claims of higher purity.
Since we supply only pure silver, our pricing reflects the current commodity market spot rates. ETI-Research diligently strives to maintain stability in the pricing of the Silver LINK, adjusting it only in response to increases in spot prices. In today’s market, most silver is often less than 99.9% purity, and any claims of higher purity should be approached with caution.
Experience the difference with the Coda RCA—where superior design meets uncompromising quality.

Coda XLR: The Pinnacle of High-Performance Connectors
Introducing the Coda XLR, a premium solid silver XLR connector designed for audiophiles seeking the ultimate in sound quality. Both the male and female pins are crafted from pure silver, ensuring uncompromising performance—these are not merely silver-plated.
At ETI-Research, we’ve dedicated over three years to perfecting the Coda XLR. While pure metals can be soft, silver’s unique properties deliver unmatched clarity and transparency in audio reproduction.
For those who demand the most transparent connection.
A Word of Caution Regarding the Coda XLR
While the Coda XLR is the most conductive option on the market, it is also the most delicate. The challenge lies in the fact that male XLR pins from different manufacturers vary slightly in diameter. To accommodate this, we design our female XLR connectors with a cross-hatch—a small cut at the end—allowing slightly larger pins to be inserted without damaging the metal.
However, the Coda, made from silver, is particularly fragile. It can’t be too tight, or the metal will tear; if it’s too loose, it may not work well with certain male XLR connectors. This results in some users finding it a perfect fit, while others may feel it’s too loose. Although we’ve tested it with a variety of XLR brands and haven’t found any compatibility issues, the Coda female connector will never offer a very tight fit for some but still will work perfect.
It is best suited for those with significant experience. If you’re accustomed to brass connectors, I would recommend choosing the Kryo model, which features silver plating and offers more durability.
